Art We Heart: Brittany Asch

February 23, 2017

This week's Art We Heart features artist and florist Brittany Asch. We know Valentine's Day is well behind us now but it's never too late to lust over gorgeous flower arrangements on Instagram, right? IG was exactly where we came across Brittany's page, BRRCH, a NYC and LA based flower studio and we are obsessed with the beautiful pieces they create. BRRCH's main goal is to deliver "[...] flowers as art to heighten the appreciation of the natural world around us." It's definitely a new take on old school flower delivery.
In an interview with Urban Outfitters, Brittany revealed that her main sources of inspiration are "Different things depending on the day. Japan, the UK, France, the jungle. The ethereal and the fantastical. Royalty and rock & roll. Decadence and grit. I'm super inspired by Tim Walker, Sofia Coppola, Wes Anderson and so many others." All we know is that the results are incredible!
We absolutely adored her collaboration with Mansur Gavriel on their 2015 Presentation and the way flowers and their bags looked together. She has also"produced flowers for music videos, short films, Royalty and The 14th Dalai Lama." No big deal.
Press wise, BRRCH has been feature in some of our usual favourites like Vogue, The Coveteur, Nylon and many others!
Check out some of our favourite snaps from Brittany's IG, we're pretty sure they'll make your day a little brighter:
